The history of Refsnes Gods has a rich tradition of hospitality. For over 200 years the beautiful situation on the west side of Jeløy with its spectacular outlook over the Oslofjord has contributed to the popularity of Refsnes throughout the years.

The hotel section of Refsnes Manor is situated in modern side wings an consists of 61 comfortable rooms, all decorated with original Nordic artworks. It is just like spending the night in your own, small gallery wihere in peace and quiet you can have a really close look at the pieces of art.

There are 61 rooms:

17 Single rooms (beds 140 cm)
14 Double rooms with one bed (150cm). These rooms are located at 3rd floor and have parquet floors.
10 Double rooms with twin beds.
14 Superior rooms with Seaview, balcony and bathtub.
6 of these are Family Rooms, with sleeping sofa (120 cm).
2 Family rooms

4 Suites overlooking the garden and the fjord and containing original art by Håkon Bleken, Frans Widerberg, Jacob Weidemann and Therese Nordtvedt.

All rooms are equipped with shower/bathtub, TV/radio, telephone and minibar. 44 of the rooms are non-smoking rooms. (Please remember to give us information about smoking or non-smoking request upon reservation).

Public areas
In the hotel you will find a number of lounges and bars adapted to individual requirements and number of participants.

Our out door pool is heated all-year-round. (Ca 22 degrees C) and is located next to the sauna.

If you would like to polish you golfing skills without leaving the hotel, you should try the golf simulator at the premises!

The big garden takes you down towards our beach and quay. The garden is an inviting place for play and relaxation. Why not have a picnic or barbeque !

For the enjoyment of guests interested in art, we offer a substantional collection of original paintings by well-known contemporary Norwegian artists. In addition, there are original works by Edward Munch, beautiful sculptures by Nina Sundbye and works by other artists.
